Chester Zoo have released a series of adorable photographs featuring their new arrivals.
All of the animals pictured were born in captivity at the zoo in the last 12 months.
The photos include an endangered Philippine spotted deer – an animal so rare there are less than 2,500 in the wild.
Charmingly, many of the babies are pictured alongside their parents.
However, some of the animals had to be cared for by the staff as their mother’s died, such as the tiny dik-dik, who was bottle fed by staff five times a day.
Chester Zoo is home to more than 15,000 animals of over 500 species.
Twinkle toes: Two tiny red river hogs were born in May. The smallest of all African pigs, their numbers have declined due to hunting
The cute piglets were born to their dad Con-Fetti and mum Mali, and normally live in swamps and forests
A lowland streaked tenrec. The spikey looking creatures communicate by rubbing together the quills on their backs to make a squeaking noise, and they are the only mammal known to do this
The orphaned Kirk’s dik-dik, a breed of antelope, named Thanos. Sadly, the tiny creature’s mother died, so staff at the zoo stepped in to bottle feed it
Miniature: Thanos stands at only 19cm tall. Kirk’s dik-diks have a maximum height of only 40cm
Nima the red panda’s favourite snack is apple. The creatures are from the Himalayas, and have no similar relatives
Ready for my close up: The scientific name for the panda, Ailurus fulgens, means ‘brilliant cat’. The animals are increasingly at risk because of risks to their habitats
An extremely rare Philippine spotted deer. There are now less than 2,500 of the deer in the wild, and they are listed as endangered on Internal Union for the Conservation of Nature’s (IUCN) Red List of threatened species
The sweet deer are at risk of endangerment for reasons including illegal hunting and large scale habitat loss

Baby it’s cold outside: A beautiful black jaguar named Goshi enjoyed the snowy weather at Chester zoo. Goshi is unusual because her coat makes her look almost entirely black
A capybara is the largest rodent in the world. Their name means ‘water pig’, and the animals love to swim. The creatures are not currently endangered, but they are under threat by illegal poaching and habitat degradation
The zoo took in six pairs of Javan green magpies in an attempt to prevent extinction. The stunning green birds are originally from Indonesia
A rare miniature wallaby hopped out to say hello! This is the first time the Indonesian animals have been to Chester Zoo, and they are vulnerable to extinction – mainly due to hunting
