A couple in Chicago got a shock wedding gift – a letter of congratulations from the President of the US and the First Lady.
Brianna and Timothy Dargert of Orland Park decided to invite Donald and Melania Trump to their big day which took place in May last year.
Unsurprisingly, the President and First Lady were not able to attend, and as the weeks ticked by the newlyweds thought their invite had fallen on deaf ears.
But months later, they got a surprise in the post from the White House.

The couple spoke to Fox 32 News about their delight at receiving the unexpected correspondence.
‘We both admire the President greatly,’ they said.
‘And to receive something from him personally completely touched our hearts.
‘It is wonderful to see that he truly cares about the American people.’
