A child has been killed in the carpark of a small Australian supermarket.
The child was struck down in a tragic crash in the carpark of a Palmerston, east Darwin, supermarket on Tuesday.
Police have established a crime scene at Moulden Supermarket and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The public has been advised to avoid the area.
Police officers were spotted photographing the grizzly scene on Tuesday afternoon.
A Dodge Ram ute understood to be involved in the crash has remained at the scene.
Moulden Supermarket announced it will remain closed for the rest of the day.
