Officers found a loaded shotgun and drugs just metres from two young children sitting in a lounge room during a raid in Sydney.
Adam Hill and Aimee Boyd allegedly had a slingshot, ammunition and cannabis stashed in the Narellan house, south-west of Sydney, according to 9 News.
The pair were charged with a number of offences including possessing illegal firearms.

The stash of illegal goods were found during a police raid on Wednesday however the couple deny owning the gun.
Both had differing stories, one telling Campbelltown Local Court the gun was found in the shed while the other said it was found in the backyard after a break and enter, according to the publication.
The magistrate said it was ‘concerning’ the gun hadn’t been taken to police as soon as it was found.
Ms Boyd, 28, was granted bail along with Mr Hill where they are expected to enter pleas in February.
