Uruguay striker Edinson Cavan scored a late winner to stun reigning champions Chile in Rio on Monday night.
Jonathan Rodriguez’s cross from the left was deftly headed into the corner of the net by the PSG hitman in the 82nd minute.
The victory meant Uruguay finished top of Group C with second-placed Chile also going through to the quarter-finals of Cope America,

Holders Chile made a bright start with Alexis Sanchez and Charles Aranguiz having efforts on goal in the opening 10 minutes.
Chile forward Eduardo Vargas then saw a header comfortably saved by goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.
Uruguay’s first real attempt on goal came in the 19th minute when Giorgian De Arrascaeta flashed an effort over the bar.
