A Chinese restaurant worker has been caught on film smacking a stunned customer across the head as he demanded a refund.
The fuming 25-year-old punter said he was ‘beyond shocked’ after he was ‘whacked’ by the woman at the Pearl Dragon in Romford, Essex.
The raging member of staff can be clearly seen in the stunning clip slapping the man round the head after he asked for his money back.
She only backs off once one of her colleagues and the man’s furious girlfriend quickly step in as it all kicks off.
After briefly speaking to someone at the eatery and receiving his cash he said he was pushed, sworn at and hit around the head
Trouble blew up when the unnamed Romford customer drove to his local takeaway on Sunday night to get a £40 refund.
He wanted his money back after his food was delivered cold and an astonishing hour-and-a-half late.
But after briefly speaking to someone at the eatery and receiving his cash he said he was pushed, sworn at and hit around the head.
‘I was beyond shocked that it happened.

‘It took hours afterwards to sink in, thinking about what I did to provoke that kind of reaction but I know I didn’t deserve to be whacked,’ he told the Romford Recorder.
‘As a restaurant they should be taking care of their customers not taking it out on them when they don’t like something.’
He had rang the takeaway earlier asking them to take the refund to his home but they refused.
So he travelled to the Pearl Dragon himself to see justice done with his girlfriend and a few mates.

And he decided to video the showdown after reading Tripadvisor reviews branding the restaurant’s customer service ‘terrible’ and ‘very rude’.
‘I thought that if other people have complained about their customer service, then if anything did happen, it would be something that others should want to know.
‘The same night I called them up just asking for an apology for what happened to me,’ he said.
‘They apologised about the food being cold and everything but didn’t even acknowledge that it happened (the assault).
‘It’s so unbelievable that they could treat their customers like this.’
No-one from Pearl Dragon was available for comment this morning.
