And Chloe Lattanzi has shared a heartfelt post about overwhelming sadness, months after her famous mother’s devastating diagnosis.

In a lengthy yet vague message shared to Instagram on Monday, the 31-year-old described feeling ‘sadness’ and ‘anger’ while encouraging fans to embrace their emotions.

‘Sadness like a deep cold bottomless ocean sitting in my stomach and chest. And anger oh anger how I have trouble accepting that you exist,’ she wrote.

‘I saw a quote. It said ‘you are in control of your emotions so choose to be happy’. Not true. You feel how you feel.

She continued: ‘Be the observer of your emotions. Don’t run from them. Don’t numb them. They are your body’s way of letting you know how your soul is doing.’

‘I don’t read into prognosis and statistics ’cause I think that can be depressing, and I’m not going to be one of those statistics,’ she said.

‘I’m going to be fine and I’ll probably deal with this in my life as an ongoing thing. I think that you can live with cancer like you can live with other things, if you take care of yourself.’
