Chobani is forced to recall yoghurts from supermarkets across Australia after lemon meringue tubs are mistakenly filled with almond flavour instead

  • The Chobani Flip Almond Coco Loco 140g, best before April 23, is being recalled
  • The product has a Lemon Meringue Tang tub but an Almond Coco Loco foil seal
  • The tubs are filled with almond ingredients, the NSW Food Authority confirmed
  • Any consumers with an almond allergy or intolerance may have a reaction 

Chobani has recalled yoghurts from supermarkets across Australia after lemon meringue tubs were mistakenly filled with almond flavour.

The Chobani Flip Almond Coco Loco 140g, best before April 23 2019, was being sold at Coles, Woolworths, IGAs and other stores across New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.

The product had a Lemon Meringue Tang tub but has the Almond Coco Loco foil seal and is filled with Almond Coco Loco ingredients.

The NSW Food Authority has warned consumers with an almond allergy or intolerance may have a reaction.

Customers with an almond allergy or intolerance are advised not to consume the product.

Consumers can return the product to the place of purchase and receive a full cash refund.
