Chontel Duncan reveals changes to body after giving birth

She gave birth to her second child just 11 weeks ago, but Chontel Duncan has already been back at the gym for more than a month.

Yet the fitness model, who has been posting incredible shots of her post-baby figure, revealed that her body has changed in ways that social media doesn’t show.

‘My fake boobs are no longer as perky, but they have fed two little miracles so I love them,’ the 28-year-old wrote on Instagram.

‘My skin is quite stretchy around my belly button, and my belly button doesn’t know if it’s an “innie” or an “outie” (looks like a bit of both)’.

Chontel, of Brisbane, also revealed that her posture has become awful, her caesarean scar is bigger, and her core muscles ‘feel like they’ve lost their placement’.

But the model revealed that one of the biggest changes to occur in the last few months cannot be seen in her pictures or status updates.

‘What else has changed is my “SELF LOVE”‘,  she said. ‘I truly love my body more than I did before I had babies and that’s the key point here, SELF LOVE.’

The mum told her followers this week that she believes she is still so ‘incredibly unfit’ after giving birth to her baby son Swayde Noel.

‘Woke up yesterday exhausted and in a blink of an eye slept through my alarm,’ she said.

‘This morning I woke up more determined than ever, got both of my bubbas in the truck, and off we went to training.’

‘It wasn’t my best performance, I am so incredibly unfit, but FAR OUT I feel so much better for it.’

Chontel also recently opened up about the realities of undergoing a caesarean section to deliver Swayde.

‘There’s nothing easy about a cesarea…the tugging, the pushing, the sounds, the smells, the feeling of no control, the fear of something going wrong, the recovery it all terrifies me,’ she said.

‘But I would do it all again in a heart beat.’

Sharing intimate photographs from inside her birth suite, Chontel, who was accompanied by her husband, revealed how she was filled with different emotions.

‘The top photo captures me at my weakest point and my husband incredibly helpless,’ she said.

‘The middle photo captures the sound of Swayde’s cry and visual of his privates and bottom photo captured the most incredible feeling of all, two parents falling in love at first sight.’

‘No matter how we birth or how our babies come into our lives we all experience fear, excitement and fall in love.

‘Natural, caesarean, surrogate, adoption whatever the situation we all go through the journey in some way shape or form and we all should be damn proud of ourselves.’
