Chris Bosh’s mother arrested for exploiting disabled man

The mother of former Miami Heat star Chris Bosh has been charged with exploitation of a disabled person.

Police raided the property in DeSoto, Texas, which belongs to Chris Bosh, earlier this month on suspicion of drug distribution.

They said they found drug paraphernalia on the property, and made allegations of cocaine and heroin trafficking from the home.

According to a warrant, Frieda Bosh, 58, and previous tenant Johnathan Brown were using the disabled man who also resided in the property, for ‘monetary profit, personal benefit, and gain,’ reports WFAA.

She was charged on Tuesday.

It is alleged in the warrant that the disabled man, who has not been named, was delivering drugs for Brown, and was fearful of what would happen if he chose not to.

Police also claim that Bosh let the exploitation continue so that Brown would allow her access to free drugs.

They also say that Bosh insisted that the man, who has PTSD and depression, pay a large amount of his disability allowance to her for rent for both himself and Brown.

It is also claimed the man was obligated to complete household chores.

The rift between Chris Bosh, 33, and his mother became apparent when he tried to have her evicted from the property.

Speaking to TMZ after the initial drug raid, his mother said she was being forced out of the home they ‘built together’.

She said: ‘This is a home that my son and I built together 12 years ago.

‘Chris is evicting me as we speak.’

In the same interview, she denied the allegations of drug trafficking.

The athlete has kept silent about his reasons for trying to evict his mother, and won his case for his mother’s eviction in October.

However, Bosh appealed the decision, and won.

The house, worth $330,000, was purchased in 2004 by Chris.

Chris also filed to revoke his mother’s power of attorney, which gave her the ability to purchase homes and cars on behalf of the star, who is worth millions.
