Chris Eubank Jr clashes with old rival Conor Benn again after his knockout victory over Kamil Szeremeta in Saudi Arabia… and it’s football icon NEYMAR who’s left to play peacekeeper!

  • Chris Eubank Jr comfortably defeated Kamil Szeremeta in this evening’s bout
  • However, the drama came with Conor Benn stormed the ring in Saudi Arabia
  • Benn squared up to Eubank Jr and said he would finish him off in three rounds

Chris Eubank Jr. comfortably defeated Kamil Szeremeta in this evening’s bout, but the fight’s real drama came after the final bell, when Conor Benn stormed the ring and confronted Eubank Jr., reigniting the fierce rivalry between the two British fighters.

Eubank Jr. dominated Szeremeta over eight rounds, showcasing his superior speed, power, and technical skill before the referee waved the contest off following another knockdown.

Szeremeta, a former world title challenger, proved to be a durable opponent, but he struggled to match Eubank’s pace and was repeatedly outgunned in exchanges. The referee eventually stepped in, awarding Eubank Jr. a stoppage victory, adding another win to his record as he eyes bigger fights in 2024.

However, just as Eubank Jr. was soaking in the victory, the atmosphere in the arena shifted. Benn, who had been seated ringside, suddenly climbed into the ring, immediately squaring up to Eubank Jr. The tension was palpable as the two fighters stood face to face, shouting at each other in a heated exchange that threatened to escalate further.

‘You’ve been running from me!’ Benn yelled. The confrontation quickly caught the attention of security, who rushed to separate the fighters before the situation could spiral out of control.

Neymar – who is a good friend of Eubank Jr – was also seen trying to separate the pair as they went head-to-head inside the ring on Saturday night.

The incident left the crowd buzzing, with chants for the long-awaited Eubank-Benn showdown filling the arena.

The two were originally scheduled to fight in 2022, but the bout was canceled after Benn tested positive for a banned substance just days before the event. Since then, both fighters have repeatedly expressed their desire to settle their differences in the ring, but negotiations have yet to result in a rescheduled date.

For Eubank Jr., tonight’s fight was seen as a tune-up for potential bigger bouts, with both Benn and even Canelo Álvarez being floated as future opponents. But it was Benn’s dramatic interruption, rather than the victory over Szeremeta, that stole the headlines.

Speaking in a post-fight interview, Eubank Jr. acknowledged the encounter. ‘Benn wants to get in my face? I’m right here. He knows where to find me. If he really wants this fight, we can settle it once and for all.’

Benn, on the other hand, remained defiant as he left the ring. ‘The world knows I’m ready. The next time we meet, it’s going to be a fight—no excuses,’ he said, adding fuel to the growing anticipation of their long-delayed clash.

While Eubank Jr. moves forward with plans for potential mega-fights, the Benn rivalry has once again taken center stage, leaving fans eager to see if the two will finally step into the ring together in 2024.
