Chris Evans had an emotional reunion with his dog Dodger on Sunday.
The 36-year-old Captain America actor had been away from his beloved pet pooch for 10 weeks while filming the upcoming movie The Red Sea Diving Resort in Africa.
Clearly missing his dog, Chris began to count down the weeks and months until he was reunited with Dodger.

And judging by the reaction he received when he finally arrived home, it appeared Dodger missed Chris just as much.
In a heartfelt video posted to the the handsome star’s Twitter on Sunday, Chris can be seen lying on the floor of his LA home as Dodger climbs on top of him and excitedly showers him with kisses.
The Gifted star can be seen rolling around and squinting as he tries to fend off the excited animal.
Meanwhile, a friend behind the camera can be heard laughing, as Chris splatters, while the dog continues to lick his face.

On July 8, he posted a selfie of Dodger asleep curled up under his arm.
‘Really missing this guy right now,’ he captioned it.

On August 25, he again took to Twitter to share a video of Dodger playing at home.
‘One more week,’ he wrote.
In April, Chris revealed he had adopted Dodger from a pound while filming Gifted last year.

‘One of the last scenes we were filming was in a pound, a kennel,’ he told People.
‘I foolishly walked in and I thought, “Are these actor dogs or are these real up for adoption dogs?” And sure enough they were, so I was walking up and down the aisles and saw this one dude and he didn’t belong there.’
