And on Thursday, Chris Hemsworth, 36, took on a brand new role when he dressed as the grim reaper for Halloween.
The Avengers hunk attended a party alongside his Spanish wife Elsa Pataky near their home in idyllic Byron Bay, Australia.

The film star looked only too happy to get in elaborate fancy dress, wearing a black smock and carrying a scythe.
While Elsa went in a skeleton body suit which she paired with a bucket cap emblazoned with skull and bones.
She complimented with a twisted staff that had a skull mounted on the top.

Elsa also chose to cover her face in white ghost makeup which she contrasted with dark eye makeup, similar to a zombie.
The Hollywood power couple wandered around the neighbourhood with friends, along with an adorable labradoodle who even had an Halloween outfit.
Looking to be in good spirits, Chris and Elsa happily posed for snaps in their costumes, which were taken by their pals.

Despite Halloween being an American holiday, the couple clearly enjoyed its increasing popularity in Australia.
The couple formerly lived in Los Angeles, where they were based for their successful film careers.
Chris and Elsa relocated to Byron Bay in 2014, and have just built a stunning $20 million mansion at Broken Head.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, the father-of-three said that moving back was a ‘good decision’ for the pair’.
‘There I can be with people and talk about things that have nothing to do with the film business,’ Chris said.
‘That’s almost impossible in Los Angeles, where there’s rarely a moment when you can forget that you’re an actor.’

Chris has been busy lately lately promoting a Tourism Australia campaign, alongside Terri and Robert Irwin.
