This week, Taika spoke to Spectrum and said how he thinks Chris’ sense of humour is underappreciated in Hollywood.
He told the publication that he wanted to make the latest Thor installment more humorous, as Chris is a ‘real comic talent’.
‘I don’t think they’d exploited that enough, not only in the Thor films or the Avenger films but in any of the other films he’s been in,’ Taika said.

Thor: Ragnarok stars the likes of Idris Elba, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hiddleston and Anthony Hopkins.
Chris opened up about making films, and told The Daily Telegraph that he’d love if more films were shot in Australia.
‘I would love to shoot everything here,’ Chris said, having filmed Thor: Ragnarok in Queensland.
While being interviewed on the red carpet at Australia’s Thor: Raganok premiere on the Gold Coast on Friday night he praised his local filming experience.
