And in a new trailer for the action-packed film, Chris Pratt showed off all the results of his hard work at the gym.
The actor, 41, put his six pack abs on display as he prepared to time travel 30 years into the future to battle aliens wrecking havoc on humanity.

The movie follows teacher and family man Dan (played by Pratt), who is drafted into a war taking place 30 years into the future against aliens destroying civilization.
The trailer begins with future soldiers interrupting a televised soccer match in order to ask today’s civilians to join the war.
‘We are fighting a war 30 years in the future. Our enemy is not human. We need you to fight,’ the female soldier implores viewers.
Dan is drafted to fight, to the understandable concern of his family.

‘If something happens to you, Dan? Seventy percent of draftees do not return,’ she told him.
