Chrissie Swan can’t stop blushing as comedian Jimmy Carr calls her a ‘MILF’ after hearing her husky post-Logies voice on The Project

Chrissie Swan received a rather crude complement from British comedian Jimmy Carr while interviewing him on the Project on Tuesday night.

The panel was interviewing the funnyman, 49, about his upcoming Australian stand-up tour when Jimmy jokingly referred to Chrissie, 48, as a ‘MILF’ after hearing her husky voice.

The single mother-of-three was still struggling to speak following a long night of partying at Sunday’s TV Week Logie awards, but valiantly attempted to conduct the interview as normal.

‘Speaking of MILFs, though, what is the matter with her voice?’ Jimmy mused.

The slang term ‘MILF’ is an acronym for ‘Mother I’d Like To F**k’.

He continued: ‘Because it sounds like The Project are doing a seance and that is a voice from the other side.’

Bursting into laughter, Chrissie conceded that she did sound like she was ‘possessed’, adding: ‘I can’t believe I’m talking to you like this!’

Chrissie went on to ask Jimmy for advice on how to recover her voice, prompting the comedian to joke that she should start a 12-step program to stop drinking.

‘Booze wasn’t involved!’ Chrissie replied.

It comes after Chrissie revealed quitting alcohol was one of the secrets to her recent 90kg weight loss.

The media personality gave up drinking over a year ago and turned to meditation and walking during Melbourne’s gruelling 112-day lockdown.

In an interview with The Australian Women’s Weekly in February, Chrissie explained that the lockdowns prompted her to make some ‘enormous’ changes to her lifestyle.

‘We couldn’t go out to dinner, we couldn’t go to a friend’s house, they couldn’t come to us, we couldn’t go outside five kilometres. All we could do was walk, and so that’s what I did,’ she said.

The star however declined to share any other details about how she lost weight.

‘I’m not going to talk about the size of my a**e. I’m not going to tell you what I eat in a day. Because I’ve read those stories and they make me feel bad about myself,’ she added.
