She has credited her reported 90kg weight loss to quitting alcohol and daily 10km walks.

And it appears that Chrissie Swan has a secret weapon to keep her hydrated during her vigorous exercise sessions.

The Project host and radio star was seen popping a Hydralyte Sports effervescent tablet into her water during a brief pitstop on her hike in Melbourne on Thursday.

The 49-year-old showed off her slimmed-down figure in a pair of black leggings teamed with a puffer jacket.

She also pounded the pavement in a pair of $270 HOKA sneakers.

The mother-of-three bundled her brunette locks up in a bun and accessorised with a pair of large silver hoop earrings.

Chrissie has lost a reported 90kg and recently marked a 600-day milestone of quitting alcohol during her health journey over the past year. 

She also showed off her slimmed-down figure while promoting Specsavers on her Instagram page on Tuesday. 

She flaunted her svelte frame in a pink sweater and baby blue slacks while modelling a set of prescription glasses.

She captioned the photos with a short message about her favourite glasses from Specsavers, saying the dark ones make her ‘look smart’.  

Chrissie has drastically transformed her physique over the last year, citing a new diet, daily walks and sobriety as the secret behind her slimdown.

She briefly touched on her weight loss in an interview with The Australian Women’s Weekly in March, saying the ‘enormous’ lifestyle changes she’d made over the last year had improved her life in so many ways.

‘I’m not going to talk about the size of my a**e. I’m not going to tell you what I eat in a day. Because I’ve read those stories and they make me feel bad about myself,’ she said.

However, she did confirm Melbourne’s lengthy Covid lockdown was the catalyst for her health and fitness kick.

‘We couldn’t go out to dinner, we couldn’t go to a friend’s house, they couldn’t come to us, we couldn’t go outside five kilometres,’ she said.

‘All we could do was walk, and so that’s what I did.’

Chrissie began walking only short distances, but steadily increased her fitness and now walks for two hours per day.

The media personality, who hosts Would I Lie to You on Channel 10, gave up alcohol more than a year ago as part of a health kick.

She also turned to meditation and daily 10km walks to improve her physical and mental health during Melbourne’s 112-day lockdown.
