Christian Bale spotted tenderly hugging his wife Sibi Blažić at LAX in rare PDA as he continues to shave his head for his role as Frankenstein

Christian Bale was spotted at LAX cozying up to his wife of 24 years, Sibi Blažić, 54.

The Batman star, 50, is still sporting his shaved head for his role in the Maggie Gyllenhaal-directed The Bride.

Christian – who made his American Psycho co-star Chloë Sevigny feel uncomfortable while filming – and Sibi both wore jeans and black tops and had black backpacks on as they descended an escalator after arriving home in L.A. from New York City.

The longtime couple reportedly met thought Winona Ryder while she and Bale were working on Little Women in 1994.

Sibi was Ryder’s assistant at the time. The two hit it if off, eloped to Las Vegas in 2000 and welcomed their two children, daughter Emmeline in 2005 and son James in 2014.

The couple have very cute nicknames for their kids, as Christian revealed in his 2019 Golden Globes acceptance speech for his role as Dick Cheney in Vice.

‘Thank you to my beautiful wife who said less is more,’ Bale said while accepting the Best Actor award.

‘Say less right now, she knows the dumb crap that can come out of my mouth sometimes. I can sink and ruin a perfectly good movie and a so-so career in one speech. I wouldn’t be working without her.’

He continued, ‘And thank you for our beautiful children, Banana and Burrito. They’ve given me a love and a soul I never thought possible.’

And Bale, who is well known for being a Method actor who completely transforms himself for roles, credits his wife with his success.

‘She’s had to be married to so many different characters over our marriage … I know it truly would be impossible to do it without her. She’s such a good, strong woman.’

Bale has also joked that his wife prefers some of the characters he’s played over him.

‘My wife definitely had favorites. She was like, “Ah, I miss him. He’s gone. You’re a d—. I want you to be that character again,”‘ he told People.

And his wife’s favorite character might surprise you – its Trevor Reznik from The Machinist, a role Bale famously lost 62 pounds for.

‘I think it’s just about him and me just f—— sitting there being too weak to be able to do anything. Totally incapable.’

Christian is currently filming The Bride alongside Jessie Buckley, Annette Bening, Penelope Cruz and Gyllenhaal’s husband, Peter Sarsgaard.

‘A lonely Frankenstein travels to 1930s Chicago to seek the aide of a Dr. Euphronius in creating a companion for himself.

‘The two reinvigorate a murdered young woman and the Bride is born,’ the film’s synopsis reads.

‘She is beyond what either of them intended, igniting a combustible romance, the attention of the police and a wild and radical social movement,’ according to Deadline.
