Christian Horner is set to feature heavily in the upcoming series six of Netflix’s Drive to Survive series despite an ongoing investigation into allegations of ‘inappropriate behaviour’ against the Red Bull chief.

Netflix dropped their newest adrenaline-packed trailer for the upcoming series six of the show that takes viewers behind the scenes of the Formula One season and the lives of drivers.

Horner was present at Red Bull’s recent unveiling of their new car at the team’s Milton Keynes headquarters that they hope will lead them to a successful F1 title defence.

The 50-year-old has strenuously denied the allegations made against him by a former Red Bull employee when he faced the media for the first time since news broke surrounding the team’s ongoing investigation into his alleged actions.

F1 chiefs have since urged the championship-winning garage to resolve Horner’s future ‘at the earliest opportunity’ and Netflix have included him in their teaser for the next series of the popular docuseries.

The newest series of the show will be available on Friday 23 February and covers the entirety of last season that saw Max Verstappen become a three-time world champion at Red Bull.

Horner features briefly in the trailer that dropped on Tuesday as he gives an insight into some of the decisions that were made by Red Bull during their latest title-winning campaign.

The husband of Geri Halliwell first appears as he sits in the back of a van en route to a location and explains the lifespan of a driver’s time in the sport, stating: ‘a driver’s career has a finite amount of time to it.’

He is later present when viewers are given a brief glimpse of how Daniel Ricciardo’s return to Red Bull was crafted last season when he re-joined as their third driver before joining AlphaTauri.

One clip shows Horner being amazed as he marvels over one of the Australian’s laps in a Red Bull car, adding: ‘that lap he just did would have put him next to Max on the grid.’

Other exciting moments in the trailer focus on a serious discussion between Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff.

Seven-time world champion Hamilton is now entering his final season at Mercedes after making the shock decision to leave the team and join Ferrari from 2025.

A glimpse of the conversation shows Hamilton telling a steely-faced Wolff: ‘you can be here for 20 more years, I can’t.’
