Christian Pulisic has arrived in Italy ahead of his £20million move to AC Milan.
The USA international, who joined Chelsea for £58m from German outfit Borussia Dortmund back in 2019, has opted for a new chapter in Serie A following four underwhelming years at Stamford Bridge.
Pulisic, who touched down in Milan to undergo his medical and complete his four-year deal on Wednesday morning, posted a video to social media and said: ‘Hi, AC Milan supporters, Christian Pulisic here. I’ve just arrived in Milan. I’m so excited to be here and can’t wait to get started.’
The winger will reunite with former Blues team-mates Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who joined Milan after almost two decades at Chelsea in a £15m deal last month.
Pulisic enjoyed his best year at Chelsea during his debut season back in 2019-20, netting nine goals in 25 Premier League appearances, but ultimately failed to kick on and become a regular first team player.

The 24-year-old primarily held a bit-part role under former Blues bosses Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter, slowing down the promising start to his career at Dortmund.
Despite the difficult four-year stint at Stamford Bridge, Pulisic continued to flourish in USA colours, earning the captain’s armband after netting 25 times in 60 international appearances.

Pulisic’s injury-plagued spell in west London continued into last season, arguably his most frustrating, as he scored just one goal and provided only two assists in 30 games.
Chelsea, who finished 12th last term, have undergone a major rebuild this summer, selling over half a dozen players including Kai Havertz, Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount, Kalidou Koulibaly, N’Golo Kante, Cesar Azpilicueta and Edouard Mendy.

The USA star was once seen as one of the brightest prospects in the world but has struggled to kick on at Chelsea due to an injury-plagued and underwhelming four years at the London club
When asked about Pulisic’s imminent move to the San Siro, Loftus-Cheek said: ‘He has huge talent. He is dynamic, quick and can score goals.
‘In the lockdown period, under Frank Lampard, he was incredible and if he can reproduce that again, he would be a top addition to the team.’
Pulisic came on as a substitute during the 2021 Champions League final against Manchester City, helping the Blues to European glory.
Now that the American has moved to Milan, only three of the 14 players who featured in the final still remain at Stamford Bridge, defenders Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Thiago Silva.
