Christian Wilkins insists that he’s really an INTROVERT

He may have a passion for fashion but Christian Wilkins insists he’s actually shy.

The flamboyant son of entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins, 67, is known for his outlandish sense of fashion, but it’s all a rouse, he insisted on Friday.   

‘Despite all the evidence to the contrary, I am an introvert parading as an extrovert,’ he told The Daily Telegraph. 

‘I am literally hiding in plain sight,’ the socialite turned actor added, with the paper categorising him as ‘quite shy’. 

When entertaining, Christian says he has a well-rehearsed set to gags to repeat to friends to ensure he always has something witty to say. 

‘I know literally four jokes. And I just stand by the bar and repeat them all night long. Everyone goes away thinking I’m hilarious. It’s perfect,’ he said.

Last year, the Eden star worked his modelling chops as the face of a new makeup range. 

He fronted the campaign of a range of lipsticks created by Karen Murrell in conjunction with the streaming service Binge.   

‘I love that make-up and the world of beauty has changed so much that it really is somewhere diverse and for everyone. Anyone can embrace that,’ he told Stellar Magazine at the time.
