Christina Applegate rants on social media about new season of Love Island USA and targets ‘weird sounds’

Christina Applegate hilariously took to social media to rant about the reality show Love Island USA.

The 52-year-old actress shared her opinions on the Peacock dating show on X on Wednesday after admitting that she’s become a fan of reality TV after being diagnosed with MS.

‘I adore Love Island. Have watched every season. It I have a beef with production and contestants. Can you pls stop making weird sounds with your water bottles? like holding straw in mouth and chewing it and not sipping. Or girls with long nails making clicky clackety sounds on ha,’ she posted on the site formerly known as Twitter.

About 20 minutes later, Christina posted: ‘Also to add to my Love island rant. White deodorant on the armpits in the heat is gross. Now you all are very attractive people, please use clear deodorant!!! The white puss looking s*** in the folds is not bueno. This is just me helping you be the best version of you. Haha.’

Christina’s posts resonated with her followers and viewers of the show that introduced Ariana Madix, 39, as the new host when season six debuted in June.

Another person in the comments agreed that they hate when white deodorant ‘curdles’ and said it reminded them of ‘something too graphic to share’.

‘Well I will say it for you. Yeast infection. That’s all I see now,’ Christina responded.

The ‘Married… with Children’ star in 2021 revealed that she had received a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis.

‘I just started two years ago when I got diagnosed. In the two years that I’ve been watching from my bed, I have watched probably, what? 300 hours of reality TV, I would imagine. Probably more, she said.

Christina met The Sopranos star Jamie, who also has MS, through mutual friend Lance Bass, 45, and connected over their shared diagnosis prompting them to launch their podcast together in March.

Jamie received her MS diagnosis in 2002 when she was 20 years old.

Sadie while speaking on her mother’s podcast shared her upset over her symptoms being ignored by her teachers in school – while her mother issued an emotional apology to the teen for not realizing earlier on that something was wrong.

‘I have something called POTS,’ Said shared. ‘I have no clue what it actually is but it’s something to do with the autonomic nervous system and it affects my heart.’

‘When I stand up, I get really, really dizzy and my legs get really weak, and I feel like I’m going to pass out,’ she added.

On severe days, she can faint and even become unconscious.
