She’s standing in for Lorraine Kelly on her eponymous chat show this week.

The ITV host, 39 – who will welcome her child later this year – accentuated her growing bump in the primrose yellow ensemble as she chatted to her guests.

The Loose Women star – who is currently 22 weeks pregnant – looked delightful in the lacy dress, which showed off her toned arms.

The Northern Ireland native showed off her pregnancy glow as she enhanced her stunning features in faint rose blush and a nude lipgloss.

Christine complemented her striking appearance as she styled her brunette tresses into loose waves, and accessorised with diamond stud earrings.

Earlier this month, the brunette beauty shared that her parents will also get their first grandchild.

Christine also shared that the daddy-to-be ‘really can’t wait’ for the baby’s arrival, while his daughters – Luna, 12, and Isla, 10 – are ‘beside themselves’.

‘I’m trying to do all the right things,’ she said. ‘Like any first-time mum, there’s a list of whole things I didn’t know. I’m learning on the job.

On the first weeks of pregnancy, she added: ‘I wasn’t terribly sick, a little nausea but I feel good. I’ve tried to be good, I’m walking everywhere.’

She went on to say: ‘It’s lovely, we are very excited. It’s the first grandchild for my parents, my sister will be an auntie for the first time.

‘And the girls, they are completely beside themselves, more than I thought… They are desperate for a girl.’

Christine announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post with Frank and her step-daughters (from his relationship with Elen Rivas).

On Frank, she added: ‘He can’t wait. He’s very excited daddy-to-be and because the girls are there as well. We’re a unit and we’re all in this together. We feel very grateful.’

Christine also revealed that she has kept the news to herself for some time, owing to her ‘anxiety, nerves and superstition.’

‘I wanted to go for the big scan and everything,’ she admitted. ‘I was really tentative before I announced it. We know that can happen at any stage but so far so good.’

Clearly in shock, she admitted she took ‘5 or 6’ pregnancy tests to be sure that it was ‘real’ and says that while her bump is only ‘little’ she gets bigger as the day goes on.

During her appearance on Loose Women, the presenter – who previously said she did not want to use IVF – stated that she preferred to see if she could fall pregnant naturally.

She told the panel: ‘I wasn’t constantly doing a test. I thought, let’s see what happens, because I’m clearly not 18 any more.

‘It’s been the loveliest time between the two of us. I wanted to let nature be the referee.’
