And it seems Christine McGuinness got her wish on Thursday, as she enjoyed a shopping trip in Manchester with her comedian partner Paddy.
The 30-year-old was spotted beaming widely as she stepped out hand-in-hand with her husband, 44 – who appeared to have spoiled his wife, by carrying a Christian Louboutin carrier bag in hand.

Christine kept things casually chic in black skinny jeans and a vibrant purple top as she embarked on her romantic outing with her husband.
Known for her glamorous sense of style, the mother-of-three layered a sleek biker jacket on top, and accessorised with a Gucci belt and knee-high heeled boots as she hit the shops.
While she styled her hair into loose waves and sporting a smoky eye and pink lip, it was the blonde’s beaming smile that caught attention during the day out with Paddy.

The Take Me Out host was even spotted with a Christian Louboutin carrier – perhaps keen to treat his wife during their outing away from their three kids.

On Wednesday, the blonde shared a snap of her TV screen with her followers, which saw a bright pink advert with the words: ‘Time to go on a date. Do it.’
Using the opportunity to prove her playful relationship with her husband, Christine then wrote in the caption: ‘MTV sending me messages through the tele… @mcguinness.paddy sort it out!’
Proving the pair to be back on good terms again, she accompanied the joke with a red love heart emoji.

Christine recently gave insight into her marriage with Paddy on The Real Housewives of Cheshire, following their rocky patch earlier this year when the comedian was spotted on a night out with Nicole Appleton.
She revealed that she has given up her ‘whole social life’ for their children, including their twins Penelope and Leo who have been diagnosed with autism, and that she rarely goes out without her husband.
Speaking to co-stars Tanya Bardsley and Ester Dee, she said: I’ve been teetotal since I was a teacher. I rarely go anywhere without my husband so you should be honoured.

The Instagram post proves Christine and Paddy to be back on good terms – weeks after he was pictured in London with All Saints singer Nicole.
He was spotted hand-in-hand with the 43-year-old during a wild night out in Soho, and Christine was later seen crying at the wheel of her car.

However, the blonde went on to reveal on This Morning that her new role on The Real Housewives of Cheshire had been a ‘welcome distraction’ from a tough few months, and that she and Paddy were working things through.
She said: ‘This has been a brilliant distraction from everything. I can’t praise the show enough for giving me that, my husband’s been great. We are in a really good place.’
Christine added that she and Paddy had finally had their first ‘date night’, in more than half a decade.
Speaking on Loose Women, she said: ‘It’s been difficult recently but I try and take the positive out of everything, and all made me realise that I want to spend more time with him, and we want to try and do more things together’.
