And don’t think this is just a sample platter.
The AUD $285 calendar comes with 12 full-sized bottles of wine – each priced at $23 – as well as Christmas recipes, wine pairings, tasting notes, and a few surprise gifts.
Included in the package are three each of sparkling, white, and rose wine, and four red wines.
‘We thought that full bottles were the only way to go given how much socialising everyone does at Christmas,’ Wine Gallery director Jude Walta told Daily Mail Australia.

‘We wanted people to be able to share the fun.’
Walta said that the calendar is a way for the Wine Gallery to further its mission of opening up the world of wine to Australians, but with a sweet holiday twist.
The 12 bottles are top secret, but Wine Gallery revealed they were among the highest-rated by customers this year
‘When we started to think about Christmas and what was so magical about it when we were kids, we realised that it was not just the day but the long lead-up that made it so much fun,’ she added.
‘We all fondly remember how much we delighted in opening up the doors on an advent calendar, so we wanted to bring back some of that delight and magic to all the grown-ups who might have forgotten that Christmas is full of wonder and excitement.’
The 12 bottles selected for the calendar are top secret, but Wine Gallery revealed they were among the highest-rated by customers this year.
‘We’ve now got tens of thousands of customer wine ratings, and this is the perfect way for us to celebrate some of the standout favourites,’ Wine Gallery co-founder Banjo Harris Plane said.
The Wine Gallery has become nicknamed the Netflix of Wine, sending customers three wines a month based on a personal palate quiz and ongoing ratings.
