Fans might eagerly await the weddings on Married At First Sight, where two strangers meet for the first time at the altar after being matched by experts.
But now it’s been claimed that the wedding scenes are fake.
KIIS FM Celeb HQ host John Caldwell spoke on his radio show this week and claimed that the moment the couples meet for the first time is shot over and over again.

‘It’s not real what you’re seeing,’ John claimed.
He made the claim when he revealed that a wedding for the next season of the show was being filmed at Sydney’s Centennial Park this week.
‘The rumour that has come out of some of these weddings… is that they are re-shooting, you know the opening scene, where they see them for the first time and they gasp,’ John said.

However Sarah Roza called into the show and said that the opening shot for her wedding was ‘authentic’.
The 39-year-old was ‘married’ to Telv Williams on the last season of Married At First Sight, but the pair have since split.
‘The first time I saw him was the time that you guys saw it all happen as well,’ Sarah said.

‘I was absolutely s****ing my pants before I saw him so you could see that all over my face on TV that it was legit and authentic.’
She said she did not do any retakes, and that the scene was simply shown from different angles.
Married At First Sight is expected to return to television in early 2019.
