Claire Sweeney looked glamorous as ever in a sparkly white jumpsuit as she headed out of a swanky meal following her split from ex-boxer Ricky Hatton on Tuesday.

The Coronation Street actress, 53, looked incredible as she shared a festive picture of herself posing in front of a Christmas tree to Instagram.

Claire commanded attention in the figure-hugging long-sleeved outfit, which was cinched around her svelte waist with a sparkly belt.

The former Brookside star added inches to her frame in a pair of towering metallic platform heels as she also added snake earrings and a red manicure.

Claire was dressed up for an evening at The Ivy restaurant in Liverpool as she joined her pal Kyle John Craggs for a swanky meal.

While she seemed to be having a fun and festive evening, Claire’s split from boxer Ricky was brought to light earlier this month.

Claire and Ricky reportedly broke off their eight-month romance after they began a secret romance on Dancing On Ice last year.

It was reported at the time that the pair bonded over their love for Only Fools And Horses and their fun sense of humour. 

Before going their separate ways, Claire previously explained she and Ricky had known each other for 25 years before sparks flew between them. 

At the time, the boxing champion said it was ‘nice’ they were able to connect following the end of their respective relationships.

Claire had been single following her separation from ex-Daniel Reilly, with who she shares son Jaxon, in 2017, and Ricky, who has three children, was a free agent after his romance with beautician Angela Blemmings ended two years ago.

Ricky said he found love with Claire when he least expected it while taking part on last year’s Dancing On Ice.

The welterweight boxer previously confessed: ‘I didn’t go on Dancing On Ice to find romance, I just went in hoping I wouldn’t break my f***ing neck.

‘I’ve known Claire for a while. I’ve met her at a few functions and at different events over the tears.

‘Every time we’ve spoken we have hit it off and got on with each other.

‘We ended up both training in Altrincham, Claire’s on Coronation Street and she’s from Liverpool so we used to train at the same time.

‘We got on straight away while we were training for the ice skating. And then when we travelled down to London where she show actually took place we got in even better.’
