A mum-of-two popular online for her cleaning prowess has revealed her top for tips for using vinegar around the home.

Mum-of-two Carolina McCauley, from Perth, shared a reel on Instagram showing the four tips.

The video opens with the young woman hugging a bottle of vinegar – before offering four tips for its use.

The first tip is to use the cleaning staple with dishwasher soap to clean shower screens.

The mum uses a half and half mixture of the two, spraying it onto the shower screen before rinsing it off with clear water. 

The next snippet shows her pouring a mix of vinegar and baking soda down the sink.

‘It deep cleans your drains,’ she explained.

She then went on to explain vinegar can be used to clean ‘impossible lime scale stains’ around your sink.

She simply soaks a microfibre cloth in vinegar, wraps around the faucet and leaves for a few minutes.

When she comes back the grime wipes away easily.

The fourth tip is to mix vinegar with water, again fifty-fifty, to clean out stainless steel water bottles.

‘It makes them like new again.’ she said,’ pouring the mix into the bottle.

Carolina’s post quickly went viral with one woman commenting: ‘ I love your love for vinegar’.

The busy mum often uses the product because she says it is safer for her children.

Most of the comments simply thanked her for tips.

‘I really needed the flask tip, thanks for that,’ one woman said.

 Others revealed ‘thanks to Carolina’ vinegar is their new favourite cleaning tool.
