A cleaner has revealed what it’s really like to clean a hoarder’s apartment, and how she gets the job done in just two hours.

One of the harder jobs in Charlotte’s experience is cleaning up a hoarder’s apartment.

‘This is how I clean a hoarder’s apartment in just under two hours,’ Charlotte posted on TikTok.

The first thing Charlotte said she does is ‘get all of my equipment out of the boot, which includes my cloth bag, my vacuum cleaner and all of my sprays’.

Next, she opens up all of the doors to let the air in, before going for a walk around the apartment to see what there is to do.

‘The first real part of the procedure is removing all of the rubbish,’ Charlotte said.

‘I put on some gloves and I use some heavy-duty bin bags so they don’t break and rip in the middle of the elevator.’

Charlotte said on this particular occasion, there was a ‘lot of rotten fruit’ that she needed to get rid of.

‘Once I had made sure I had gotten rid of that, within 10 minutes the room was full of filled-up bin bags,’ she said.

‘I then jumped in the elevator and went down to the scary bin room that freaks me out every time – and before you ask, yes I do separate the recycling.’

She finishes with a de-clutter and tidy of the kitchen.

‘You can’t make this perfect [in the time frame] but I just do my best with what time we have,’ she said.
