Model and AFL WAG Clementine McVeigh has opened up about the anguish of losing her baby daughter – as she reveals no parent should ever experience such a tragedy.
The 34-year-old New Zealand-native is eight months pregnant with her third child to Sydney Swans player Jarrad McVeigh.
The young couple also share daughter Lolita-Luella, 5, who was born not long after they lost their first baby.
Speaking to Marie Claire, Clementine said losing her first child Luella at one-month-old to a heart condition was ‘hell’ as she revealed the loss changed her life forever.

‘Losing a child is hell. I wouldn’t wish it upon anybody,’ the brunette told the publication.
Clementine spoke about the loss of her first daughter in the Marie Claire October issue
‘It made me appreciate everything I have in life because it can be taken away in a split second.’
Posing for the magazine in a soft pink suede-style maxi dress, Clementine cradled her growing bump and shared her impossibly tragic experience as a first-time mum.
As part of the Marie Claire and Georg Jensen campaign to raise awareness for ovarian cancer research, the model also said the greatest gift for her baby girls is ‘good health’.
‘My husband Jarrad and I cherish every moment we have with our second daughter Lolita-Luella, and we’ll do the same with our third daughter who is due next month,’ she said.

Clementine and Jarrad suffered the loss of their first child in 2011 when she passed away four weeks after she was born due to a serious heart complication.
Taking to Instagram in late July, Clementine posted a tribute to her late daughter who would have been six this year.
‘Happy birthday my Angel baby,’ she wrote.
Clementine also hinted recently she is due any day now, and added she had started experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions.
