Clowns are claiming children are no longer excited to see them and are instead riddled with fear because of horror movies.
Jebly the Clown and Mr Loopy told Sunrise hosts films like Stephen King’s ‘It’ movie, which hit the big screens last week, are damaging to the clown industry.
‘I tried to go up to them and give them a high-five and say hello and they run away,’ Mr Loopy said Thursday morning.

‘It is scary and not good. I don’t like it.
‘I think we should embrace clowns.’
With creepy clowns hitting the big screens, including Pennywise the murderous clown, the two clowns said they were forced to ditch white faces and big red smiles for plain faces and small ‘cute’ red smiles.
The clowns also said they had to swap red balloons for flower balloons.
The World Clown Association released a statement saying young children should not be exposed to the clowns in horror movies.
‘Many people are confronted by images of horror characters (impersonating clowns) and are startled by them,’ the statement read.

‘Even the character in the movie ‘It’ should be understood to be a fantasy character – not a true clown.
‘We also recommend that young children not be exposed to horror movies which are intended for mature audiences.’
The evil clowns created a riot on the industry where the association even had to create press kits to prepare their clowns for horror movie ‘It’.
However, Jebly the Clown and Mr Loopy to Sunrise hosts Samantha Armytage and David ‘Kochie’ Koch they would fight the scary clowns by dancing.
