CNN anchor Kate Bolduan has welcomed her second daughter, right on time for the holidays.
The At This Hour journalist, 33, took to Instagram yesterday to share photos of her newborn Delphine Esther, while her colleague Dana Basch announced the birth on air.
Delphine, Kate’s second child with her husband of seven years, the real estate investor Michael Gershenson, 39, was born on Friday weighing six pounds and 10 ounces.

Kate and Michael already have a daughter, three-year-old Cecelia, who appears delighted to have become a big sister.
‘She’s here!’ Kate wrote on Instagram next to photos of her two girls. ‘Delphine Esther. The best gift of all.’
The series of three photos begins with a close-up of Delphine, all wrapped up in a blanket and wearing a small baby hat.
It continues with two more shots of Cecelia proudly holding her baby sister while beaming with happiness.
Basch reported on CNN that everyone is doing well and that Kate had called Delphine a ‘bundle of joy’.

The proud parents are ‘over the moon’ to have welcomed their second daughter, Basch added, and Cecelia is ‘thrilled’ that her sibling has arrived.
Cecelia, who was born in September 2014, played an important part in announcing the upcoming birth of Delphine back in July.
Kate revealed she was pregnant with a series of photos of her firstborn wearing a T-shirt that read ‘I’m so cute my parents are having another’.
The little girl could be seen pulling several facial expressions, from a wide grin to a cute pout, all of which her mother called in the caption: ‘The many phases of realizing you’re going to be a big sister.’
