The beloved group last performed in Australia in 2016, and these concerts were their first in the WA capital since February 2009.

It comes after it was revealed just how much food and drink was required to satiate the 120,000 punters attending over the band’s two Perth concerts.

Among the food trucked for sale is an incredible nine tonnes of hot chips (or French fries as they are known stateside) as well as special Coldplay themed burgers.

A Channel Nine news report revealed on Saturday that 500 kegs of beer and 35,000 cans of larger were brought in, as well as 50,000 cans of ginger beer.

Over 8000 burgers were expected to be sold, including the aptly named Fish You and Viva La Vegan offerings.
