A group of female friends attending Clark Atlanta University has left the internet in stitches after doing their best impressions of various emojis in a very funny group text thread.
The fun kicked off this week when a woman named Mimi decided, out of the blue, to do an impression of the monocle-wearing emoji, and sent it to her friends Jeydah Jenkins, Trish, Tee Tee, Steph, Naj, Nadiya, and Dwaina.
The girls all found image quite funny — and decided to turn it into a bit of game that has since gone viral.

The young women took turns doing their own versions of emojis like the woman holding a baby, the nerd in glasses, the hijabi, and the yoji.
They even brought in props to recreate the man rowing a canoe, the lab scientist, and the woman with a towel on her head.
They shared two dozen pictures in all, with some more outrageous than others — until ending with an unbeatable impression of the swimming whale.
Delighted — and imagining that other people would enjoy how ‘silly’ they are, too — Jeydah took a video of herself scrolling through the group chat on her phone.

Since March 27, the video has been viewed nine million times, racking up over 650,000 likes and counting.
The tweet has even inspired other social media users to do their own emoji impressions, though none has earned quite as much attention as Jeydah and her friends’.
Jeydah told BuzzFeed that they are letting others decide who ‘won’ the challenge, but most are callit it a tie between her and Trish.
Either way, the whole experience has been lots of fun for everyone involved.
‘College is stressful and you need a laugh every now and then,’ she said.
