Comedian Celeste Barber mocks Tom Brady’s new movie career following his NFL retirement

NFL star Tom Brady announced he will be starring in an upcoming road trip comedy from Paramount following his retirement from professional football. 

And famous Aussie comedian Celeste Barber poked fun at the former quarterback’s surprising career change in a hilarious post to her Instagram Stories. 

Barber, 39, begun her series of posts on Thursday by first sharing a news story of Russian president Vladimir Putin recently declaring war on Ukraine, writing in the caption, ‘Oh s**t’.

She then followed that up with a news story from The Hollywood Reporter announcing that Brady would be starring in a ‘Road Trip Comedy at Paramount’. 

‘Oh man, todays news just keeps getting worse,’ Celeste joked. 

Brady’s new movie is titled 80 for Brady and is a ‘football-themed road trip movie,’ according to The Hollywood Reporter article linked by Barber.

The NFL star will produce and also star in the picture alongside Hollywood legends Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno and Sally Field. 

Meanwhile, Celeste has continued her never-ending quest of hilariously lampooning celebrities.

One of her latest targets was P.E Nation founder Pip Edwards.

Celeste gently mocked the activewear queen, 41, while visiting a wellness centre in Sydney’s Bondi Beach earlier this month.

Celeste shared a photo to Instagram of herself posing rather awkwardly in a steam room, which is something Pip is known to do. 

‘Goes to Bondi once… Thinks she’s Pip Edwards,’ she captioned it.

She also posted a video of herself using a dry scrub while standing in front of the sauna in her underwear.
