Comedian Lil Duval in car accident in Bahamas and is airlifted to hospital with broken hip

Comedian Lil Duval was airlifted to a Jacksonville, Florida hospital with injuries after he was involved in an auto accident in the Bahamas Tuesday while on an ATV.

A rep for the 45-year-old entertainer told TMZ Wednesday that ‘a motor vehicle ran into’ Lil Duval ‘while riding a four-wheeler’ and suffered ‘a broken hip alongside mild injuries.’

Lil Duval, whose full name is Roland Powell, ‘is in stable condition and is currently being airlifted again, from Nassau to Jacksonville … in order to be treated at a local hospital with the capabilities and equipment available to conduct the recommended surgical procedures for recovery,’ his rep said.

The entertainer, who has been seen on shows such as Guy Code, Hip Hop Squares and Wild ‘N Out, took to Instagram with a clip for more than 3.8 million followers, of himself on a gurney as medical workers assisted him into a small aircraft. The clip concluded with an interior shot of the airplane.

He captioned the clip, ‘Somebody hit me in they car while i was on my 4 wheeler. Now my leg broke and i gotta get flown over to nassau and have surgery.’

The comic took to Twitter writing, ‘I appreciate everybody checking up on me but if you call and i don’t pick up don’t take it the wrong way. I’m really f** up and can’t move cuz I’m in so much pain.’

Lil Duval later posted a tweet to Instagram with the caption, ‘Broke my hip not my leg and that’s even worse … but I’m still chillin tho can’t nothing steal my joy.’

He later posted a clip of a woman giving him uplifting words in the hospital in Nassau, captioning the clip, ‘I really needed this prayer. But I’m not giving this hospital.’

He later tweeted: ‘I ain’t got no internal bleeding the doctor said that amazing being that i got hit by a car going full speed.’

In post he put on Instagram Wednesday, the comic shared footage of a medical team working on his leg with a drill.

‘They really drilling my knee bruh,’ he said. ‘Why they ain’t put me to sleep?’

Lil Duval also used Twitter to update his fans on his health status following the accident

He was subsequently seen in a clip from a hospital bed in which he showed off a black eye, and stitches on his eyebrow.

Lil Duval received a slew of well wishes from show business colleagues including T.I., Kevin Hart, Angela Simmons, 2 Chainz, Ludacris and Juicy J, among others.

‘Maaaaaan I’m gon pray that you get well first,’ T.I. said. ‘Then find it in yo heart to sitcho old a** down somewhere & rest big bro…. Amen.’ 

Hart said, ‘Praying for you champ…Get well immediately…’
