Comedian Matt Okine calls out awkward Married At First Sight editing fail – so did you spot it?

Australian comedian Matt Okine has discovered an awkward editing fail during a recent episode of Married At First Sight.

The Mother and Son star, 38, posted a video to TikTok which showed scenes from a recent dinner party, in which the footage appeared to be aired out of order.

Matt pointed out that a dinner plate in front of groom Jayden Eynaud, 26, initially had food on it, and when the camera cuts it didn’t.

‘If you want to know how “real” reality TV is, watch this sequence from MAFS. Watch the plates. Where’s the food gone, there’s no food! Oh, it’s there again,’ he told fans.

Many of Matt’s fans quickly took to the comment section to discuss their thoughts on the awkward continuity fail.

‘Editing is so funny this year, it’s all over the place,’ one fan joked, as a second person added: ‘We were cackling during this whole scene.’

Last month, MAFS suffered yet another awkward editing fail.

An episode of the dating experiment saw the couples come face-to-face with experts Mel Schilling, John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla to discuss their progress.

The three experts dished out harsh advice to the couples after the past week’s antics before the contestants decided whether they wanted to ‘leave’ or ‘stay’ in the process.

While tears were shed and truths came to light in the dramatic scenes, viewers couldn’t help but spot an awkward gaffe.

They noticed that expert Mel, 52, still had the price tag stuck to the bottom of her stylish nude high heels throughout the entire commitment ceremony.

Looking glamorous in a stunning red gown, the sticker could be seen on the bottom of her heels as she sat with her legs crossed while dishing out advice.
