Shappi Khorsandi has called out a charity worker who she claims drunkenly accosted her at an awards event last night.
The comedian, who attended the Charity Times Awards in Westminster, sent a tweet to a charity for veterans with PTSD at midnight.
The tweet read: ‘Hey @SapperSupport, I suffer from PTSD myself, so please don’t grope my a*** again unless invited to. It wrecked my night.’

Sapper Support replied: ‘Hi Shappi, only just seen this. Sincere apologies, I suspect too much fizz and exuberance was to blame. No malice, but also no excuse’
This led to a stream of supportive tweets for the star, who said she suffers from PTSD herself and had her night ‘wrecked’ by the incident.
Sapper Support won an award at the ceremony in Westminster for its work running the call line for former army engineers.
It replied to Ms Khorsandi’s tweet: ‘Hi Shappi, only just seen this. Sincere apologies, I suspect too much fizz and exuberance was to blame. No malice, but also no excuse.’ The post has since been deleted.
In a further tweet sent this morning, Sapper Support wrote: ‘Early morning, head is a little sore. But still over the moon about the award.’

This in turn prompted a reply from Tim Evers, the CEO of Sapper Support, who said: ‘This allegation is totally unfounded’
A later tweet from a supporter of Khorsandi prompted a reply from Tim Evers, the CEO of Sapper Support.
Mr Evers, who is married and has a son, wrote: ‘This allegation is totally unfounded. I do not know why Ms Khorsandi has chosen to tweet this allegation.’
Ms Khorsandi’s spokesman told MailOnline: ‘In over 20 years of being a stand up in clubs and presenting awards at events I’m a master at handling drunks.
‘I’m not easily rattled but touching someone’s backside uninvited is definitely not something anyone should be expected to laugh off.’
Mr Evers refused to comment when contacted by MailOnline.
