Connecticut man dons appropriate shirt as he poses for DUI

A Connecticut man, allegedly under the influence when pulled over by officers, was wearing a T-shirt that coincidentally prophesied his future.

The green shirt features a shamrock where the dot for the i is supposed to be, alluding that the shirt may be for St. Patrick’s day.

The 38-year-old was spotted by a trooper striking the sidewalk on Main Street in Danielson and breaking other traffic laws, according to police. 

Corey failed sobriety tests and officers also found marijuana and other drug paraphernalia along with a 12-inch machete inside his car, police said. 

He was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, failure to drive in the proper lane, unsafe movement from a stop position, failure to have headlights illuminated, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and weapons in a motor vehicle.

He was released after posting bail for $10,000. 

Corey is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Danielson on October 3.  

The shirt sells for just under $16 on Bonanza.
