Conor McGregor believes it will only take him another three years to become just the sixth billionaire in sport after revealing his ambition in a Twitter Q&A.
The 32-year-old – who is set to take his net worth to nearly £200million – asked for questions on the social media platform from his 8.3m followers.
And when presented with the question of the time scale for him becoming a billionaire, McGregor replied: ’35 years of age.’

Should the Irishman reach his goal and become a billionaire in 2024, he would follow in the footsteps of Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Floyd Mayweather and football superstars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
McGregor is the highest paid fighter in UFC history and reportedly raked in around £80m for his fight against Mayweather four years ago, while reports suggest he is set to rake in £112m after selling his remaining stake in his Proper 12 whisky company.
The Notorious was also asked who the toughest opponent was that he had faced, and replied: ‘Nate Diaz. The west coast zombie.’
And he plans on joining the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the billionaire club
Diaz recorded a famous victory over McGregor in 2016 – the Irishman’s first UFC defeat – but was subjected to revenge in the rematch in August that year.
A trilogy fight has yet to take place more than four years after they last met, but McGregor insisted it will be ‘epic’ when it does take place.
He said: ‘The trilogy will be of epic proportions when it goes down.
‘Nathan, and his fighting styles, are never far from my thoughts throughout my own practices. ‘When it happens, I’m ready.’
The Notorious also named Nate Diaz as the most difficult opponent he has faced in UFC
However, McGregor’s return to the cage will see him star in a trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier.
Poirier shocked the UFC world in January by completing a victory over McGregor via technical knockout in the second round at UFC 257.
That result was a rematch which took more than six years to take place after the Irishman had defeated his American counterpart in a featherweight bout in September 2014.
McGregor’s comeback to the cage is planned with a trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier
A trilogy fight between the pair could take place this summer after UFC president Dana White all but confirmed the news and added that McGregor ‘wants it as soon as possible.’
But Diaz himself did not react well to the news, launching a foul-mouthed Twitter rant aimed at both McGregor and Poirier in response.
McGregor has not fought since knocking out Donald Cerrone, 37, in 40 seconds at the start of the year.
