Conor McGregor launches shocking attack on Khabib Nurmagomedov and slams Donald Trump after former president’s confession on Adin Ross’ stream

Conor McGregor was triggered by former US President Donald Trump naming his Russian rival Khabib Nurmagomedov as his favorite fighter. 

Appearing in a stream with Adin Ross Trump expressed his admiration for the undefeated Hall of Famer from Dagestan. Furthermore, Trump claimed that The Eagle ‘never lost a round’ in a career highlighted by a dominant victory over McGregor in the UFC’s biggest pay-per-view in 2018. 

As a result, the Irishman went off on social media and called Trump’s statement a ‘campaign ending’ remark and did not hold back on disgracing his old foe. 

‘Campaign ending decision,’ McGregor wrote. ‘A smelly fat mountain monkey from the inbred mountains of Dagestan is your favorite UFC (American Company) fighter?

‘Wow. Abysmal,’ he continued.

Nurmagomedov held a perfect 29-0 MMA record with eight knockouts and 11 submissions. 

After submitting McGregor in their grudge match at UFC 299, the Dagestani finished Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje in his final bout. Nurmagomedov laid his gloves down after promising his mother he would not continue following his father Abdulmanap’s death at the height of the pandemic. 

‘I think Khabib,’ Trump said when asked about his favorite fighter. ‘How good is he? Khabib was 29-0. His father died and he stopped. And I think he never lost a round.’ 

Furthermore, Trumps talked about meeting the former UFC lightweight champion in New Jersey and how Nurmagomedov asked Trump to stop the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

‘I got to meet him two fights ago,’ Trump said. ‘I met Khabib there and he was very… you know he [said]: ‘You’re the man that can stop [the war],’ he’s talking about Ukraine and Russia. He knows they’re his people, on both sides. And so many people [are] dying in that war. 

‘He really was amazing. We were talking about a different kind of fighting – a much worse kind of fighting. He was very concerned. He said: ‘you can get it stopped,’ and I can get it stopped.’ 

McGregor’s rivalry with Nurmagomedov transpired the corners of the Octagon. Besides McGregor’s verbal assault on Nurmagomedov’s country and religion, he infamously threw a dolly on a bus containing his rival and other fighters. 

As a result, several athletes were injured from the glass shattering into the vehicle.

Furthermore, Nurmagomedov jumped off the Octagon to attack McGregor’s team -sparking a brawl – after securing fulcrum choke to submit The Notorious in the fourth round. 

McGregor previously praised Trump after his failed assassination attempt in July, writing: ”A 78 year old multiple billionaire he should be on a yacht on the med touring golf courses.’
