Cooper Cronk and wife Tara Rushton are the definition of chic as they turn up the glamour at the NRL Hall of Fame in Sydney

Some of Australia’s greatest rugby league legends gathered for the NRL’s Hall of Fame Awards on Wednesday.

Leading arrivals for the black tie event at the Sydney Cricket Ground was former Rooster Cooper Cronk and his beautiful wife Tara Rushton.

The pair, both 40, were the definition of chic as they posed in their eveningwear on the black carpet.

Cooper looked dashing in a traditional tuxedo, with bow tie and white dress shirt with black studs.

Tara, meanwhile, looked glamorous in a slinky gown that featured a slit in one side and a plunging neckline.

The Channel 10 sport reporter styled her long black hair back off her shoulders and accessorised with a pair of chunky earrings.

Former Melbourne Storm champ Billy Slater also attended the event with wife Nicole.

Billy looked dashing in a simple dark suit paired with a black tie, matching dress shoes and a white shirt.

Also appearing on the Hall of Fame's stylish black carpet was former NRL Cowboy star Jonathan Thurston. The 41-year-old star was accompanied by his wife Samantha, who dazzled onlookers in a beautiful black evening dress which featured lace sleeves. Both pictured

Meanwhile, Nicole showed off her stunning figure in a stylish blue gown which featured a plunging neckline, side slit and billowing sleeves. 

She paired the outfit with a set of silver heels and let her long dark locks fall over her shoulders.

Also appearing on the Hall of Fame’s stylish black carpet was former NRL Cowboy star Jonathan Thurston.

The 41-year-old star was accompanied by his wife Samantha, who dazzled onlookers in a beautiful black evening dress which featured lace sleeves.

She paired the frock with a set of matching heels and tied her dark hair back to show off a pair gold earrings. 

Famed NRL great Wally Lewis was also on deck for rugby league’s night of nights alongside his partner Lynda Adams.

The proud 64-year-old Queenslander looked smart in a grey blazer which he paired with black trousers, a white dress shirt and a black tie.

Meanwhile, his partner Lynda looked elegant in a black dress that featured panels of sheer fabric. 

She let her long hair tumble over her shoulders and accessorised with a set of silver hoop earrings, a simple chain necklace and black handbag.

Former Balmain great Benny Elias  was also among the arrivals on Wednesday as an inductee for the NRL Hall of Fame 2024.

The 60-year-old smiled at onlookers alongside his date Anne Finnie.

Benny elected to put a twist on the traditional black tux look by wearing a white dress shirt without studs and a gold bow tie.

He also added a suave touch by sporting a dress kerchief and completed his look with a set of matching dress shoes.

Anne, meanwhile, stunned onlookers in a Grecian-style column dress in beige.
