Florida police found twin baby girls inside an apartment with a woman who had been fatally shot Monday morning.
The woman, who has not been identified, was fatally shot in an apartment at about 5.15am Monday in the Palm Aire Gardens North complex in Pompano Beach, Florida, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported.
When police arrived at the apartment, they found the two, pink-clad baby girls with the dead woman. The babies were uninjured.

The children were less than a year old and were taken into custody of the Department of Children & Families, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.
Police said the twins were related to the dead woman, but have not yet revealed their exact relationship.
The 911 call came from someone who lived inside the apartment where the dead woman and the girls were found, police said, according to WSVN.
Neighbors told Local 10 that the two babies were often seen with their mother and her boyfriend inside the apartment and that the family kept to themselves.
The shooting is being investigated as a homicide and was declared an isolated incident. No arrests have been made and there are no suspects yet.
