Actor and children’s rights advocate Corey Feldman has revealed his efforts to protect child actors from a systemic pedophilia problem in Hollywood have hit a brick wall.
Feldman, 47, claims movie studios, senior film executives and even the Screen Actors Guild have all essentially ignored his concerns – a year after he first raised them.
The former child star, a victim of sex abuse himself, has repeatedly voiced his concern that Hollywood is still a hot bed of child sex predators and pedophile rings.
His movement #Kids2 aims to introduce sweeping regulations which will provide safety and protection for children working on movie sets.
But in an exclusive interview with DailyMailTV, a visibly frustrated Feldman said: ‘Nobody wants to admit that it is real, they all want to put plugs in their ears and think that what I am saying is crazy.’

Feldman said: ‘I have tried talking to SAG about it and I am continuing to talk with SAG and hoping they start some sort of reform.
Last year the former child star announced his initiative #Kids2 aimed at introducing regulations which will provide safety and protection for children working on movie sets
‘I already have a plan and system that could work. But they would have to listen to it and take it seriously.’
In March 2018, Feldman was optimistic about change after meeting SAG executives over the employment and welfare of youngsters.
However, he claims they have not delivered on any of their promises.
His firm belief is that members of the executive team at SAG fear that going public with any significant industry changes would be a clear admission that child sex abuse is happening right on their doorstep.
Feldman says Hollywood has tried to cover up child sex abuse for decades and he claims senior movie industry figures are still trying to silence and discredit him through a ‘distraction campaign.’
‘They have done all they have done, all they can to twist and turn my perception so that people have a lesser respect of me, don’t take me seriously or try to make me look crazy,’ he said
The controversial child star of hit movies The Goonies and Lost Boys claims that as many as one in five industry personnel are part of the elaborate cover up, framing it as a giant conspiracy on the same level as the Catholic Church’s child grooming scandal and the US Olympic gymnastic squad doctor Larry Nassar’s mass abuse of athletes.
‘There is nothing more important than preserving the innocence of our children. Game over,’ Feldman explained passionately.
‘At the end of the day there is a reason that people do not want to admit it and face it…because it is so dark and so scary that we cannot admit to ourselves as a society that this happens.’
Feldman hopes a change will come with the release of a new film he’s been working on about his best friend Corey Haim’s abuse and its implications.
Beset with legal problems and funding issues, Feldman says he might be forced to borrow around $2million for a distribution deal for The Rape Of Two Coreys.

Feldman has endured a rollercoaster past three years.
He was widely mocked on social media for his hoodie clad pop performance on The Today Show in 2016.
His crowd funding efforts to raise $10million for his movie about Hollywood abuse also failed to even touch $200,000.
Feldman also fought against cops when they dismissed claims he had been attacked as a result of his advocacy.
Most recently Feldman changed his stance over his close friend Michael Jackson’s interactions with kids – first saying he was innocent over abuse claims; before later admitting ‘he could not defend’ The King Of Pop.
Taking clear aim at Times Up and MeToo, Feldman asserted: ‘They still do not focus on little boys ever in the press.
‘It is always focused on women and their problems, and maybe a little girl. You just don’t hear about little boys.’
Asked how he gets the ‘key players in Hollywood’ to support his campaign, and his bid to bring in industry-wide protection of children, he reflected: ‘Eighty percent of the industry is totally fine, completely fine and mostly good people.
‘Some of the most loving people I have met through my work, but that said… there is that faction of people doing what they are doing. The one thing I have learned is the way you stop it is that film is a very powerful medium, and that is why my film needs to come out.’
Feldman feels that The Rape Of Two Coreys will have the same impact as Leaving Neverland and Surviving R Kelly.
Feldman said earlier this year that ‘he cannot defend Michael Jackson after he has been accused of horrendous things’ following the Leaving Neverland documentary, though he claims Jackson never did those things to him

The movie will name the ‘people who committed crimes against my best friend,’ he says.
He also claims his life remains in danger because of his attacks on pedophile rings in Hollywood.
‘I have had two attempts on my life, multiple death threats. I have a strong faith in God,’ he said.
‘God has protected me on both occasions, where I thought I was a goner and by a miracle I survived both of them without really any harm.
‘And I figure out, if I am meant to be the guy that is there to tell this message he (God) is certainly going to keep me protected until the message comes.’
Last March, Feldman and the LAPD ended up in a war of words after he claimed he was stabbed and close to death.
Cops, however, insisted there were no lacerations, but the star later posted a small wound on Twitter.
In January Feldman wrote an article for NBC News repeating claims he has been making for years that he and his friend, the late Corey Haim were raped as child actors.
He says he feels The Rape of Two Coreys will have the same impact as Leaving Neverland and Surviving R Kelly as he was ‘raped of his innocence’
Feldman spoke to DailyMailTV as he turned up to support Hollywood play Famous, from writer-director Michael Leoni (pictured together), which addresses child molestation, power abuse and manipulation in Hollywood
Feldman said he was ‘raped of his innocence’ and was now demanding justice for other children.
‘What has happened to children in my industry was by and large ignored and, at this point, it’s been all but brushed under the rug.
‘Hollywood seems much more ready to accept responsibility for what it’s done to women than they are willing to face that there is still a deep-seated virus within this industry – and, most unfortunately, it’s not an industry-exclusive disease, but also effects other parts of our culture….’
Feldman also called for an end to the statute of limitations which render many cases of historic sexual abuse impossible to prosecute because too much time has passed.
Feldman spoke to DailyMailTV as he turned up to support Hollywood play Famous, from writer-director Michael Leoni. The play addresses child molestation, power abuse and manipulation in Hollywood.
Leoni set his fictional play 23 years before MeToo addressing the impact on the children, young men and women abused in the entertainment industry and the tragic toll it takes on their lives.
