Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon clashes with boyfriend over plans for more children: ‘I have the uterus’

Lucy Fallon has shared her plans to expand her family as she admitted she wants two more children during ITVBe reality show Drama Queens on Wednesday night.

The actress, 28, shares her first born Sonny, 14 months, with her boyfriend Ryan Ledson, but it seems she is broody for more.

The Coronation Street star, who plays Bethany Platt on the cobbles, confessed in the trailer for next week’s episode of the reality show that wants two more children, but it seems Ryan is going to need some convincing.

Talking about the future, Ryan says: ‘Maybe one more’ as Lucy protests: ‘Two more’, and Ryan argues back: ‘One more for me like’.

Lucy then has the final word as she adds: ‘Two more. I have the uterus.’

Elsewhere, the star also opened up about her frustrations that Ryan, who plays for Preston North End, is also yet to pop the question.

Lucy shared with the cameras: ‘I think everyone thinks that being with a footballer, is going to come with loads of glamorous things – but Ryan is really, really normal. He’s a normal lad from Liverpool.’

Looking disappointed she continued: ‘I am not engaged. It’s actually become a bit of a running joke now, but I think the more that I go on about it, the longer it’s going to be.’

She added: ‘Maybe I need to stop talking about it and then it’ll happen, maybe.’

Lucy also joked about her character Bethany being pregnant as she sat going through her scripts.

She told Ryan: ‘I read that next week I’m getting run over, and everyone thinks that I’m pregnant. Not me, but Bethany, but she’s not pregnant.’

Ryan then asked: ‘Do you think that’s something they could bring into the show?’

As Lucy quickly replied: ‘God no! I’ve got one at home, I don’t need one there! It’s not what I need.’

Lucy officially returned to the cobbles at Christmas, three years after she left her role on the soap.

Waving at the camera in a welcome back video, she said: ‘Hello everyone, It’s me, Bethany. It’s my first day back filming today, I’m very excited.

‘A little bit nervous and I can’t wait for you all to see what Bethany is up to. Bye!’

A TV source told The Sun at the time: ‘Lucy is one of soap’s most talented actresses who won lots of awards for her powerful portrayal of Bethany’s grooming storyline.

‘Bosses reached out to her a few weeks ago about the possibility of coming back, and told her everything they’d planned for Bethany if she agreed.

‘She discussed it with her boyfriend, and family, because she’s a mum now with a baby. Once they’d talked about childcare, and how best to juggle it all, she was able to say she’d love to return.’
