Busy Coles, Woolworths and McDonald’s added to Sydney’s spiralling Covid exposure list in late-night drop of 17 new venues right across the city – so do you need to isolate?
Supermarkets across Sydney have been added to the city’s spiralling Covid exposure list, just hours before millions are due to learn whether lockdown will be extended.
Of most concern to contact tracers is an infected Commonwealth Bank worker, who may have been infectious when serving customers in Roselands over three days.
The situation is also worsening in Sydney’s west, with customers of the Coles at Westfield Parramatta and Country Growers grocery store told to isolate for 14 days regardless of whether they get a negative Covid test result.
The same goes for a construction site in Toongabbie, where an infected tradie worked for five days from June 28 to July 2.
Gladys Berejiklian will let millions know on Wednesday if lockdown restrictions will be eased as planned on Friday, but with the exposure list blowing out again, that is becoming more and more unlikely.
