On 23 March, we published an article from AAP that suggested Peter Kimlin along with other rugby players had been arrested on suspicion of raping a girl in France.
This was incorrect. While Kimlin did help police with their enquiries, he was not arrested on suspicion of committing rape, for which three players have been charged.
We are happy to make this clear and apologise for the distress caused to Mr Kimlin and his family.
