His ex-wife Kym Marsh rushed their ‘terrified’ daughter Polly, six, to hospital after she was struck with Croup on Wednesday night.
But Jamie Lomas, who is currently appearing on I’m A Celebrity, still has no idea about the health scare that left his little girl ‘gasping for breath’, sources claimed.
The Hollyoaks actor, 42, reportedly hasn’t been told about the incident as it happened while he is in the Australian jungle.

‘He hasn’t been told while he’s in the jungle,’ a source told The Sun.
‘Because it happened while Jamie was in the jungle, it’s not something he’d know about.’
MailOnline has contacted an I’m A Celebrity representative for comment.
It comes after Kym revealed she took Polly straight to Salford Royal Hospital when she was left ‘gasping for air’ at her family home at 11.30pm.
Recalling the ‘terrifying’ incident, Kym divulged she ‘couldn’t sleep’ in her OK! magazine column when doctors revealed her daughter was suffering from Croup.

Croup is a respiratory infection that is usually caused by a virus, the infection leads to swelling in the windpipe and as a result, it interferes with normal breathing.
‘On Wednesday night at 11.30pm, Polly just started gasping for breath,’ the Corrie beauty recalled of the incident.
‘I had to rush her over to Salford Royal Hospital. It turned out she’d got Croup. It’s something that children of the age of three can get but Polly is six.

‘It was horrible and her cough sounded like she was a sea lion. I didn’t get to bed until 5am and even then I couldn’t sleep. The staff put Polly at ease because she was terrified. It was really horrible to see.’
The doctors sent Kym and Polly home with a course of steroids to tackle the Croup and she is said to be on the mend now.
Elsewhere Jamie was oblivious to the drama as he had to overhaul his eating habits and his home comforts while Kym and Polly watch from every night from home.

The Hollyoaks star, 42, and boxing champion Amir Khan, 30, have shed most of the weight since entering the jungle on November 19, according to The Daily Mirror.
Jamie is single and ready for a new love, just three years following his divorce from Kym in 2014.
The former flames first went public with their relationship back in July 2008 after the Corrie beauty had divorced her first ex husband Jack Ryder.
The showbiz couple, who share the six-year-old, decided to tie the knot in a romantic ceremony in 2012 and ahead of the lavish celebration Kym gushed about her excitement in an interview.
The singer said at the time: ‘All we know is that we’re very much in love and looking forward to the day when we finally get married.’

Just two years later, they parted ways for good when the divorce was finalised in 2014.
At the time, a source told The Sunday Mirror: ‘Kym has made her peace with it. She is moving on and she is happy. The split was difficult as Jamie is father to her fourth child, Polly, but she is feeling much more positive now.’
Ahead of his stint in the jungle, the actor made a thinly veiled dig at his ex wife.
The 42-year-old actor confessed he is a ‘sucker for a pretty face’ while he seemingly threw shade at the Coronation Street beauty in an interview with The Mirror.
Jamie told the publication: ‘What do I look for in a girl? I’ve always gone for the wrong ones so, I don’t know. I’m a sucker for a pretty face.’
