Jason Duggar of TLC’s Counting On fame popped the question to girlfriend Maddie and she said yes.
Maddie, who has already secured a new Instagram handle with her future last name, took to the app on Friday to announce the news.
‘On 8/24, Jase asked me to marry him, and I could not be more excited!!’ she wrote to her modest following.
She thanked photographer @kaylajohnsonphoto_ ‘for capturing this special moment so beautifully’ and added a ‘spring 2025’ hashtag, hinting at a wedding date.
Jason, 24, will become the 13th child of TLC stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s children to tie the knot, following his sister Jana Duggar’s recent nuptials.

Jason and Maddie made their romance Instagram official just three months prior to their engagement.
The future husband uploaded a carousel of photos showing the couple holding hands on the beach in his and hers white outfits.
The duo appeared on social media once again weeks later, sharing outtakes from their Fourth of July celebration.
Maddie accompanied Jason to his sister Jana’s August 15 wedding to Stephen Wissman.
And he later commented on an online post shared by the new Mrs. Wissman, writing, ‘Congratulations Jana & Stephen.’
He added on behalf of himself and Maddie: ‘We are so excited for you guys!!’
The photographer who captured Jason’s proposal observed, ‘These two seriously have the sweetest relationship I’ve ever seen.’

The Duggar family’s TLC reality series 19 Kids and Counting was cancelled in July 2015 after Josh Duggar’s history of molestation surfaced.
