A man and woman found dead in a rural Scottish AirBnB took their lives after forging a double suicide pact over the internet, a source told MailOnline.

Police found the bodies of a male, 28, and a female, 24, inside the holiday cottage in Rickarton near Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, at 1.30pm yesterday.

Detectives are treating the deaths as non-suspicious and are officially continuing to investigate.
